She also leaves behind her sisters Betty (Carl) Horvath of South Bend, IN, Kim Canfield, and Valerie (Jon) Birk, as well as nieces Annette (Michael) Burkhardt, Deborah (Javier) Mendez, Carla (RJ) Hohl, & nephew Greg Horvath and extended family including Jen Selner, Stormi Bird, & friend of 46 years, Marie Pauwels.
Sue was in 4H, Rainbow Girls, chorus, poetry, & speech club. She was the editor of her high school newsletter and yearbook, graduating from Greene High School in 1961. In 1962 she married Chuck Selner (passed in 2011). They enjoyed visiting with friends and singing around the piano. Sue helped found Unity Church of South Bend in her spiritual journey. In Sue’s early professional years, she worked at Bonnie Doon’s, Associates, and Century 21. She found her place in Human Resources, spending several years at Coachmen, before her move to Glaval, now Forest River. Finally, with retirement, came no appointment Mondays, reading her books, family gatherings, her squirrels, a good game of Scrabble, letters to her friends Vickie, Sharon, & Patti, and seeing her favorite pictures of her grand-puppy, Bjorn.
