Surinder Kaur Dhillon

Surinder Kaur Dhillon, 75 years old, passed away at 7:54 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Surinder was born on January 13, 1951 in India to the late Sardara Singh and Swarn Kaur.  She has lived in South Bend since October of 2021.  On November 21, 1976 in India, Surinder and Joginder Singh Dhillon were united in marriage. 

Surinder is survived by Joginder, her husband of 49 years; four sons, Kulbir “Sonny” Singh, Simerdeep “Sam” (Satinderjit) Pannu, Ranvir “Sam” (Jasbir) Singh, and Gurvinder “Gary” (Robin) Singh Dhillon; and thirteen grandchildren, Sehajpreet Kaur, Samarvir Singh, Gurkirat Chahal, Harkeerat Singh, Gurveen Kaur, Gurshaan Pannu, Eakam Pannu, Simrat Bajwa, Harbin Bajwa, Rabia Goraya, Amrita Kalsi, Jay Goraya, and Kabir Goraya.  Her brothers and sisters-in-law are as follows, the late S. Malkiat  Kaillay, Vijay Kaillay the late S. Daljit Kaillay, Sarbjit Kaillay the late S. Gurdip Kaillay, the late Nasib Kaillay, the late S. Gurdev Kaillay, the late Surjit Kaillay, Amrik Kaillay, the late Jasbir Kaillay, Satnam Kaillay, Manjit Kaillay, the late S. Jarnail Kaillay, Davider Kaillay, the late S. Tarsem Kaillay, the late Darshan Kaillay, Varinder Kaillay, and Surinder Kaillay.

Prayers for Surinder will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend. Cremation will follow at Southlawn Cremation Services.  Online condolences may be offered to Surinder’s family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
