Susan Marie (Parsons) Alcock

Susan Marie Alcock, 62, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Walkerton, Indiana.  Susan was born March 9, 1958 in Buffalo, New York to the late Edgar and Doris (Studier) Parsons.   She has been a resident in the area for the last 23 years coming from New York. Susan was a graduate of Kenmore East High School in Kenmore, New York. 

Susan worked as a mechanic with Sears Auto Center. She enjoyed woodworking and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

On June 17, 1978 in Kenmore, she married John M. Alcock, who survives. Susan is also survived by her sons, John II and Ian; six grandchildren, Selina, Alex, Susie, Michelle, Johnny, Allyson; four sisters, Diane, Kathy, Patty, Donna and three brothers, Pete, Tom and Bill.  Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Marie and sister, Connie.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Palmer Funeral Home – River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka, South Bend, IN 46615.  Friends may gather with the family from 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM prior to the service.
