Susan L. (Scott) Milbourn

Susan L. Milbourn, 77, of South Bend, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Healthwin Specialized Care, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 10, 1943 in South Bend, to the late Vern and Marjorie (Ellis) Scott Jr.

On July 13, 1963 in South Bend, Susan married Forest L. “Butch” Milbourn; he preceded her in death November 30, 2010.

After graduating from high school, Susan would work in the retail business at various places around the area.

Surviving is her daughter, Cindy Marino and her fiance`, Tim Osborn, both of South Bend; five grandchildren, Daniel, Nathan, Traci, Nichole and Kaylee; six-great grandchildren, Karter, Layla, Parker, Logan, Madilyn, Harper, and one on the way.  Also surviving is her sister, Peggy Akin of Arizona; brother, Richard (Sandy) Scott of North Liberty; with several nieces, nephews as well as a special niece, Nikki Walsh of Edwardsburg.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Scott Milbourn, who passed away in 2009; and a brother-in-law, Ronald Akin.

Visitation will be from 11:00AM-1:00PM Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Palmer Funeral Home – River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, with funeral services immediately beginning at 1:00PM with Pastor Ben Webb officiating.

Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery.
