Tammy Sue Barker, 63, of South Bend, passed away peacefully at 5:40 pm on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Wood Ridge Assisted Living Center in South Bend, IN.

Tammy Sue Barker was born February 20, 1959 in South Bend to Bradley M. Lyon Sr. and Betty (Shank) Richards. She was preceded in death by her parents, Son; James “Dude” Henry Barker III, brother; Basil Lyon, mother-in-law, Janice K. Barker, brother-in-law; Robert Giles, niece; Donna Lyon, nephew; Richard “Richie” Willis Jr., best friend; Robert “Bob” Hudson, and her beloved grand-dog Muchacha. She is survived by her daughters; Jamie (Michael) Winston, and Jennifer Barker; grandchildren; Ashley (Antonio Goodwin) Scroggins, William (Torrie) Scroggins III, Michael Winston Jr., Anthony “AJ” Winston, Great-grandchildren; Christopher “chris-boo” Teska, Jayden “Juju” Jones, Braeson “Baby B” Scroggins, Elijah “Eli” Scroggins, Malachi “Mali” Goodwin, William Scroggins IV, Sisters; Sharon (George Walker) Giles, Carol Renner, Esther Riffle, Juanita Lyon, Brothers; Bradley M. Lyon Jr., Robert Lyon, Timothy (Lori) Lyon, Special Nieces Carrie (Jacob) Harrington, Holly (Orson) Livermore, Chloe Livermore. Special Nephew; Joey “Jo Boy” Lyon, Jonathan “Johnnie” Livermore and Bryce Blad. Special Sons, Eric Erlacher, Dante Pates. Special Friends; Sharon Butts, Brenda Vincent, Diana (Chris) Parchmen, Pam Thorpe. “Hotdog”, and Greg, Ex Husband; James Henry Barker Jr. Also surviving are many other nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest with her son at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Tammy Sue Barker may be donated to the Palmer Funeral Home – Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN
