Thomas D. Yoder of Edwardsburg, MI., passed away at 5:13 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the age of 76.
Tom was born on May 20, 1945, in Phoenix, AZ., to Lamar and Sara (Frick) Yoder. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Anita Yoder.
Tom was married to the love of his life, Jackie K. Daniel, for 55 years. Jackie survives along with their children, Chris (Amy) Yoder of Lowell, MI, and Debra (Greg) Kraska of Edwardsburg, MI; two grandchildren, John Kraska and Charlotte Kraska; and his brother, David Yoder, of South Bend, IN.
After graduating from Penn High School in 1963, Tom went on to complete his apprenticeship as a Tool and Die Maker. He retired as a Tool and Die Maker, working for Parrish Machine and Granger Tool and Die.
Tom enjoyed spending time at Christie Lake, hunting, and tinkering on a variety of projects. He loved sharing stories and having a good time with everyone he met.
Services for Thomas will be on Monday, January 24, at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 30888 County Road 6, Elkhart where visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Pastor Spencer Mielke will officiate the services with burial to follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger. Palmer Funeral Home-Bubb Chapel is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church of Elkhart.
