Thomas A. Grzesiak

Thomas Allen Grzesiak, 73 years old, passed away at 4:12 a.m. on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Catherine Kasper Life Center, Plymouth.  Tom was born on October 17, 1948 in South Bend and was adopted by Norbert A. and Rose L. (Rallo) Grzesiak on October 24, 1962 at the young age of 14.  His love and devotion continued to both of his parents all of his life. 

Tom resided in Lakeville, Indiana and was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.  His love of life and laughter continued through during his medical conditions and he shared his love of life with many.  Tom carved over 100 canes for his loved ones.  Throughout his fight with Pancreatic Cancer and Parkinson’s Disease, he continued to bless those around him. 

Tom leaves behind his family: step-brother, Gene (Ruby) Culp and family of San Antonio, TX; brother, Brian Grzesiak of Florida; sister, Anita (Paul) Simons and their two sons of Houston, TX; and cousin, Patrick Grzesiak of Indianapolis.  Tom is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who were touched by his love.

Per Tom’s wishes, there will be no services or visitation.  In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in his memory in remembrance of his love of wood carving.  Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville, is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be offered to Tom’s family and friends at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
