Thomas E. Lewallen

Thomas E. Lewallen, 35, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 6, 2019 in Benton Harbor, MI. Thomas was born on December 13, 1983 in South Bend, IN. 

Thomas was a lifelong resident of the area and was employed as an aluminum casting welder at his time of passing. He was a proud uncle to three nieces, an avid Notre Dame fan, enjoyed music and cherished time he spent with his loved ones. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Thomas is survived by his stepmother, Denise Lewallen of South Bend; siblings Timothy M. Lewallen, LeeAnn N. Wireman and Brittney M. Lewallen, all of South Bend; aunts Tina M. Lewallen of Mishawaka and Kim A. Lewallen of South Bend; nieces Karmya Maybell, Alanna Maybell and Alayna Maybell; as well as a host of cousins and other extended family members. Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Michael E. Lewallen, and his mother, Beverly D. (Kubisiak) Williams. 

A memorial service for Thomas will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home – West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend, IN 46628. Pastor Daniel Oliver to officiate. Friends may call on the family for one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family care of Palmer Funeral Homes.
