Thomas C. Polk

Thomas C. Polk, 75, of South Bend passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021 at his home.  He was born September 10, 1946 in Rochester, IN to the late Charles T. and Mary Jane (Hattery) Polk.

Thomas is survived by his loving companion of over 30 years, Karen Bricker; daughters, Tracy Polk, Carla Polk, Deana Polk, and Angel Bricker; and grandchildren, Misty, Mariah, Ashton.  In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Polk, Carol Andrews, and Connie “Leah” Polk.

Thomas worked as a carpenter for most of his life.  He enjoyed playing pool and shooting darts, watching boxing and old westerns, and was an avid reader.  Thomas will be deeply missed by his family.

A celebration of life will be held from 2-5 PM on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Potato Creek State Park in the Peppermint Hill Pavilion.  Palmer Funeral Homes-Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
