Tierus D. Lucas

Tierus D. Lucas, 36, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday evening, April 27, 2021 in Wanatah, IN. He was born on February 7, 1985 in Haselünne, Germany to Larry Lucas and the late Obina Jean (Stephens) Lucas, and was later gifted to Brenda Lucas.  

In addition to his parents, Larry and Brenda, Tierus is survived by his daughter, Carol Lucas; sister, Jasmine (Robert) Browne-Young; brother, Marcus (Pamela) Lucas; grandfather, Walter Stephens; and a host of friends, extended family, and co-workers.

Tierus attended college and was then employed by NFI Industries. He was well loved by all who knew him. Not only was he a happy person, but he was kind, generous and humble. He was big-hearted and always willing to help others in need. He enjoyed spending time with his family. In his spare time, he was an avid nature enthusiast and enjoyed playing cards and board games.

Funeral services for Tierus will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Islamic Society of Michiana, 3310 E. Hepler Street, South Bend, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in South Bend. Palmer Funeral Home—Hickey Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
