Veronica M. Farkas, 74, of Walkerton, passed away at 12:18 pm on Thursday, November 16,2023, in her home.

Veronica was bon on May 5, 1949, in Foraker, IN to the late Willard and Henrietta Roose.

On March 2, 1965, Veronica married Steve Farkas and together they celebrated 55 years of marriage. Veronica is survived by her husband, Steve; daughters, Sherry (Mansil) Washburn, and Tracey (Bryan) Fox; son, Troy (Jean) Farkas; 9 grandchildren; and brother, Edward Roose.

Veronica owned Cornucopia Restaurant in South Bend for about 7 years back in the 1990’s.

There are no services currently scheduled. Palmer Funeral Home – West Chapel 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend, IN 46628 is assisting the family with arrangements.
