Vickie Lynn Bennett (née Pullum), age 72, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, in Buchanan, Michigan. Born on January 4, 1953, in Niles, Michigan, she brought warmth and joy to those around her throughout her life.
From a very young age, Vickie developed a deep love for music—a passion that would remain a constant thread throughout her life. Her voice became a source of comfort and inspiration as she shared her gift of singing with her family and within the church community. Whether lifting spirits during worship or bringing harmony to family gatherings, her music was an expression of her heart and faith.
Vickie was the beloved daughter of William F. Pullum and Eva M. Pullum, both of whom preceded her in death. She is lovingly remembered by her son, William Cole Jr., and his wife Jamie Cole; her grandchildren Kyler Cole, Aubrey Cole, Isabel Perrine, Hannah Perrine, and Chelsea Springman; and her great-grandchildren Perry Tibbs and Camya Tibbs. She also leaves behind her siblings Carol Ferguson, Daniel Pullum, Sheila Pullum, and Michael Pullum.
Vickie's legacy lives on through the voices she inspired and the memories she created with those who knew and loved her. May her memory bring comfort to all whose lives she touched. A Memorial Service will be held on January 3, 2026, at 01:00 PM at Portage Road General Baptist Church 1765 Portage Road, Niles, MI 49120. A luncheon will immediately follow the service.
