Virginia B. (Harding) Warren

Virginia Warren, 98, passed from this life on Sunday, July 25, 2021. She was born in Kokomo, IN to the late John Harding and Susan (Harness) Harding on May 21, 1923. Virginia met Edward Warren at Uniroyal and they were united in marriage on October 24, 1943 in South Bend.  Edward preceded her in death on August 21, 2016.

Surviving Virginia is a loving family, consisting of sons, Michael (Jeanne) Warren of Plymouth, IN and Robert Warren of South Bend, IN, five grandchildren: Jennifer (Jay) Warren, Timothy (Brandi) Warren, Daniel (Holly) Warren, Christopher (Marissa) Warren, and Kimberly (Mario) Vega as well as ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her son, Edward Warren, Jr., her two sisters and a brother.

Virginia was an avid quilter, loved to sew and often took oil painting classes at the YMCA. Given her compassionate heart, she never met a furry friend that was left a stranger.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30 at Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN. 46614. Friends and family are welcome to visit from 11 AM until the time of the service, also at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Southlawn Cemetery.
