William Mark Lanning

William Mark Lanning, 69, of Mishawaka, IN., passed away at 11:59 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2026 in his residence after a lengthy illness.

William was born on September 12, 1956 in Mishawaka to William and Katherine (Lee) Lanning.

William is survived by his daughter, Stacie Lanning of Mishawaka, his grandson, Devon Newcomer, his three sisters; Suzan McCarty, Kathy Rhodes and Sally Ewald.

William was preceded in death by his son, Shawn Lee Lanning and his parents.

William from Steel Warehouse after 15 years and he was a machinist for 40 years.

William’s true passion was golfing with his brother and buddies.

Cremation will take place with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
