William "Bill" Waymouth Obituary

William “Bill” Waymouth, 69, of South Bend, Indiana passed away 9:00 a.m. Sunday, May 9, 2021 in his residence.  Bill was born on February 24, 1952 in Santurce, Puerto Rico to Robert Robert H. and Clare (West). William was raised by his father Robert and Adela Waymouth.     

Iris and William were married on December 22, 1974.

Iris Waymouth survives along with three sons, William Waymouth, Mikel Waymouth and James (Katie) Waymouth all of South Bend, one grandson, Callum Waymouth who was the love of his life, his father, Robert H. Waymouth, two sisters, Ade (Jerry) Skinner of New Jersey and Ruth (Tony) Kramer of South Bend and one brother, Robert (Pam) Waymouth of Indianapolis, his sister in law, Ana M. Pere’z along with many nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his mothers, Clare and Adela and his daughter, Jeni Waymouth.

Bill worked as a pilot and he was the Director of the Media Center at St. Mary’s College.

Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he was a member of the Civil Air Patrol serving as a Major and the Experimental Aircraft Association.

Services for Bill will be on Thursday, May 13, at 6:00 p.m. at the Palmer Funeral Home – Welsheimer Chapel, 521 North William Street, South Bend where visitation be from 4:00 p.m. until service time.

Bill’s final resting place will be at Riverview Cemetery in South Bend.
