Xavier Rayvon Penn

Xavier Rayvon Penn, age 4, of New Carlisle, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Memorial Hospital.

Xavier was born on November 3, 2021, in LaPorte, Indiana, to Michelle Ross and Matthew Penn. Though his time on earth was brief, Xavier brought immense love, joy, and light to everyone who knew him. His bright spirit, sweet smile, and playful nature will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his family and loved ones.

He is survived by his mother, Michelle Ross; his father, Matthew Penn; his sister, Camilla Penn; his maternal grandparents, Don and Christina Ross; his paternal grandparents, Henry and Pam Penn; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who loved him dearly. He is predeceased by his sister, Grace Lynn Ross. Xavier’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

Family and friends may gather for a memorial service on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., at Palmer Funeral Home – Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, IN 46614. Private burial will take place at Southlawn Cemetery, at a later date.
