Our History
Since 1973, we have answered the needs of our growing and evolving community throughout our city, region, and beyond. From our origins as a youth outreach center to expanding our social services and becoming a leader in educational, neighborhood, and immigration advocacy, we have honored the vision of our founders.

Programs and Services
YOUTH
YO PUEDO LEER (I CAN READ)
a bilingual/bicultural preschool program. Volunteers work one-on-one or in small groups with three and four year olds doing different activities especially scaffolding learning through play.
CRECE CONMIGO (GROW WITH ME)
an elementary (K-5 after-school, enrichment, and private cultural program for 33 students from local private and public schools.
ADELANTE (FORWARD!)
a middle school and high school after-school tutoring, enrichment, and cultural program for teens from local schools.
ADULT
ENGLISH CLASSES (ENL)
a program designed to help adults learn and practice English skills.
CITIZENSHIP CLASSES
are designed for individuals who are ready to prepare and apply for citizenship.
DIGITAL LITERACY
workshops are available for individuals who want to learn and practice their computer skills.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
workshops are available for individuals who want to learn and practice better budgeting strategies.
STRENGTHENING FAMILIES
a program designed to improve communication and relationships between parents and children.

IMMIGRATION LEGAL SERVICES
Our low-cost immigration clinic offers a variety of immigration services processed by a DOJ Accredited Immigration Representative.
FOOD PANTRY
available for families in the 46619 zip code every Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:45 PM.
TRANSLATION AND NOTARY
services are available.
TEAM HEAT
a gas assistance program available to families in need.
CHRIST CHILD & AGENCY REFERRALS
are available to families and individuals in need.
ADVOCACY
NO HUMAN BEING IS ILLEGAL
a campaign that was launched in 2017 that advocates for all immigrants.
SOUTH BEND ID (SBID)
an identification program that provides South Bend residents access to a valid form of identification that is only limited to the City of South Bend.
GOSHEN RESIDENT ID (GRID)
an identification program that provides Goshen residents access to a valid form of identification that is only limited to the City of Goshen.
PLYMOUTH RESIDENT ID ENDORSEMENT (PRIDE)
an identification program that provides Plymouth residents access to a valid form of identification that is only limited to the City of Plymouth.
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS (KYR)
open sessions available to the community to keep them informed of the latest news that affect the immigrant and Latino community.
