Dale A. Kulczar
March 16, 1949 ~ December 2, 2023 (age 74) 74 Years Old
Dale A. Kulczar, a cherished family man, and a respected member of the South Bend community, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2023, at the age of 74. Born on March 16, 1949, in Plymouth, Indiana, Dale's journey began as the beloved son of the late Joseph and June Kulczar. His life was a testament to the value of hard work, dedication, and the importance of family.
Dale spent his career as a Heavy Machine Operator, where he took pride in his membership with the Union of Operating Engineers Local 150. His commitment to excellence in his field was evident to all who worked alongside him. Dale's work ethic and integrity were not only cornerstones of his career but also served as an example for his colleagues and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Kulczar, and his loving family who will forever cherish his memory. Dale's legacy continues through his daughter, Tiffany Mark and her husband George Hodgson of South Bend; his sons, Scott Kulczar and his wife Tia of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Joseph Kulczar of South Bend. He was a proud and doting grandfather to Madisen, Trevor, Luke, Joshua, Joey, Kylie, Scott, Whitney, and Michael, and a delighted great-grandfather to Jackson. Dale's warmth and guidance will also be missed by his sister, Dorothy Hagen and her husband Steve of North Liberty, and his brother, Terry Kulczar and his wife Jan of Orlando, Florida.
As we say goodbye to Dale A. Kulczar, we celebrate a life well-lived. His memory will be carried in the hearts of those who knew him, and his influence will continue to be felt through the lives of his family and friends.
