Michaelle M. (Lubinski) Knefely

Michaelle M. (Lubinski) Knefely, 65, a lifelong resident of South Bend passed away peacefully on Monday April 22, 2024 at her home.

Michaelle was born on June 11, 1958 in South Bend to Bernard and Marilyn (Rininger) Lubinski. 

Michaelle graduated from Riles High School and attended IUSB for kitchen education before working for many local healthcare facilities as the supervisor of their kitchens.

Michaelle married Kerry Knefely on April 9, 1983, sharing 41 years of marriage.

Together they have two children; Shawna Middleton and Timothy (Corinda) Knefely and 4 grandchildren; Tyler and Jacen Middleton and Addison and Landon Knefely.

Michaelle is survived by her mother, her husband, her children, grandchildren, and by 4 sisters and 1 brother.

In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Michaelle’s name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
