Nannie Morgan

Nannie L. Morgan, 102, residing in South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at her home.

She was born on December 18, 1918 in Hopkins County, Kentucky to Owen and Alma Graddy, who precede her in death.

Nannie worked as an attendant at Burton’s Laundry.

On September 12, 1943, she was united in marriage to Earl “Red” Morgan, who preceded her in death on August 25, 2006.

Nannie is survived by her children, Sandra Snider of South Bend, Gary (Elaine Barnes) Morgan of New Carlisle, Eugene (Sharon) Morgan of Ft. Stockton, Texas; her six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren;

two great great grandchildren; her brothers, J.D. Graddy of Nortonville, Kentucky and Robert (Ruth) Graddy of Lanesville, Indiana; and sisters, Dosha Crump of Utica, Kentucky, Nora  Dickson of Madisonville, Kentucky, Mae  Priar of Calhoun, Kentucky.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Lucille Glaysbrook of Earlington, Kentucky, Elisha (Mary) Graddy of Baltimore, Maryland, Catherine Pleasant of Goshen, Indiana, Elmyra Ritter and Charles Graddy.

Per the wishes of the family, no services will be held at this time. Memorial contributions may be sent to Boy Scouts of America, P.O. Box 152079, Irving, TX 75015-2079.
