Patricia “Pat” A. (Kipp) Brown , age 90, passed away on April 13, 2026, in Elkhart, Indiana. She was born on September 12, 1935, in Peck, Michigan, to the late Russell Kipp and Ruth (VanConant) Kipp.
On September 10, 1963, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Pat married the love of her life, John T. Brown Sr., who preceded her in death in 2021.
Pat is survived by her four sons: Randy (Olivia) Duerksen of Cordova, Tennessee; Ron (Pam) Duerksen of Elkhart, Indiana; Timothy Brown of Elkhart, Indiana; and John T. (Rhonda) Brown, Jr. of Granger, Indiana. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as her sister-in-law, Jean Kipp of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband; her son, Daniel Duerksen; two brothers, Gary Kipp and Robert Kipp; and one sister-in-law, Olive Kipp.
Pat was a proud member of the MR Falcons Nest #4. She had a love for traveling, bowling, and spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed orange cream margaritas and had a fondness for all things pink.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Palmer Funeral Homes – Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, Indiana 46635. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Zion Lutheran Church, 20943 County Road 6, Bristol, Indiana, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation and/or the Diabetes Foundation.
