Constance L. Jones

Constance L. Jones, 80, of Mishawaka, IN entered the presence of her Lord and Savior at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Golden Living Center, Mishawaka, IN.  She was born on November 16, 1935 in Houston, MS to the late Marvin C. and Lorraine (Woodruff) Boyd. 

Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Richard Lee Jones; two daughters, Patricia (Paul)  Frushour of South Bend, IN and Laura Davenport of Greenville, SC.  She had the pleasure of six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one more great grandchild on the way.  Her son-in-law, Curtis Davenport preceded her in death.

Mrs. Jones married her husband, Richard on June 12, 1956.  They spent the majority of their married life in Greenville, MS.  She loved music and taught piano lessons for more than thirty years and taught music at Greenville Christian School for many years.  Mrs. Jones was also a faithful pastor's wife. After her husband retired from Nabisco, the two of them served the Lord ministering to churches who were searching for a new pastor.  They served small churches in MS, SC and GA.  Mrs. Jones and her husband lived in SC for a few years before moving to IN.  She was faithful in attending Community Baptist Church in South Bend until she moved into Golden Living Center at Fountainview Nursing Home.

A Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2016 at Community Baptist Church, 5715 Miami Road, South Bend, IN.   Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
