Jack A. Gamble

Jack A. Gamble, 82, of South Bend, IN passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at his home.  Jack was born on July 15. 1933 in Hammond, IN to the late Elroy and Estella (Griffith) Gamble.  On August 29, 1958 in Mishawaka, IN he married Margaret E. (Name) Gamble, who survives.

In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his sons, Dennis (Marcie) Gamble of Granger, IN and Mark Gamble of South Bend; his granddaughter, Rebecca Gamble of Lima, OH; and a host of nephews and nieces.  Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Kate Fisher, and his brother, Curtis Gamble. 

Jack served in the Air Force from 1954 to 1959.  He retired after 30 years as a truck driver for Ziker Cleaners.  He enjoyed watching old movies and loved to explore old theatre buildings whenever he was given the opportunity.  As a young man, he worked as a projectionist.  He was also a member of Community of Christ Church.

Services for Jack will be held at a later date.  Palmer Funeral Home – Guisinger Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
