Jackie L. Porter

SOUTH BEND – Jackie “Jack” L. Porter, 79, residing in South Bend, IN passed away at 11:10 PM at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, IN.  He retired from Horizon Transport.  Jack was born on March 12, 1937 in South Bend, IN.

Mr. Porter is survived by three daughters, Amanda (Glenn) Adams of South Bend, Jody (Harold) Selner and Karen Griffin both of Mishawaka; two sons, Jackie Porter and Donald Porter both of Mishawaka; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one brother, Butch (Carol) Boyer of Mishawaka.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Fox Porter and mother, Alice Poskey.

Palmer Funeral Home-River Park and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.  Graveside services will take place at a later date in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
