James A. Hough, 65, residing in South Bend, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at home. He was born December 26, 1950 in South Bend, the son of the late Harold Dean Hough and Joan (Johnson) Peterson, and remained a lifelong area resident.

James served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He previously worked at Reese Hitches.

James is survived by two daughters, Jessica (Stephen) Cox of South Bend and Adrienne Hough of Jacksonville, FL; and two grandchildren, Julian and Mia Cox.

There will be no public services. Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
