SOUTH BEND – Jimmy Allen Pickens, 64, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN.  Jimmy was a member of the UAW Union and was an engineer at Rockwell/Dodge Corporation.  Jimmy was born on October 29, 1951 in Florence, AL to the late Arbie and Ethel (Duff) Pickens.  He proudly served in the United States Army.

Jimmy is survived by his brother, Chester Pickens; nieces, Dawn (Aaron) Allen and Theresa Lindsey; and nephews, Joseph Workman, Bryan Lindsey and Larry Lindsey.  Two sisters, Wanda Lindsey and Patricia Weaver; and a brother, Arbie Pickens, Jr., all preceded Jimmy in death.
