John Michael Schaal

John Michael Schaal, 65, of Mishawaka, IN passed away at 6:10 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2015 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.  He was born on September 24, 1949 in South Bend, IN to the late Gale Arthur and Virginia Mae (Evans) Schaal. 

John is survived by three sisters, Patty Ann (John) Hanson of Gallatin, TN, Kathy (Larry) Burcham of Granger, IN, and Robyn Himes of South Bend.  He is also survived by two brothers, Bill (Tina) Schaal of Granger and Chuck (Amy) Schaal,of South Bend

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Palmer Funeral Home – Guisinger Chapel; 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, officiated by Rev. Greg Crump.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, 124 N Michigan St, Plymouth, IN 46563.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the extended family and extended caregivers at Partners in Opportunity, especially Tamantha, Tara, Gina and Mia.
