Marc Corbalis

Marc Corbalis, age 64, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. He was born on April 16, 1953, in Freeport, NY, to Walter George Corbalis and Carolyn Irene Corbalis Daegling. On July 18, 2009 in Granger, IN Marc married Beverly Vana who survives him.

 

Marc is also survived by his sons, Josh Corbalis, Brandon (Paige) Corbalis, and Marcus (Shonda) Walson; his daughter, Erin (Scott) Hirdning; his stepson, Rex (Amanda) Gard and stepdaughter, Mychell (Paul) Lass; thirteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Meg, Karen, Sandra and Beth and brother, Scott. Marc was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jeffrey.

 

Marc served his country honorably for thirteen years in the United States Navy. He held a degree in criminal justice and loved riding his Harley. Marc enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

 

A memorial service and military honors will be held in honor of Marc on June 24th at 1 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home – River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615.  Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to the service.
