Norma Grace Wilhelm

Norma Grace Wilhelm, 91, of Lakeville, IN passed away at 8:37 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Mary B. Home, Lakeville, IN.  She was born on August 13, 1925 in Lakeville, IN and remained a lifelong resident.  On April 11, 1947 in Wakarusa, IN, she was united in marriage to John Wilhelm, Jr. who preceded her in death on September 24, 2012.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, Helen (Perry) and Leo Wright; son, Bruce Wilhelm on April 3, 2002, and brother, Paul Wright.

Mrs. Wilhelm is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Helene W. and Fred Kiefer of South Bend, IN; two grandchildren, Dennis (Kristin) Cannoot and Martin (Kim) Cannoot, Jr.; four nieces, Lea (Rob) Alexander, Lynn (Mike) Stahl, Laura (Jim) Klaus and Terry Long and nephew, Larry Wilhelm. 

Mrs. Wilhelm was a co-owner and operator along with her husband of Wilhelm Home Equipment Company for over twenty years.  She was a member of the Lakeville United Methodist Church and the church sewing group.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan St. Lakeville, IN.  Rev. Brian White, pastor of Lakeville United Methodist Church will officiate.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday prior to the services.
