Ralph W. Horning

Ralph Horning, 83, of South Bend, IN joined the Lord in his beautiful garden of Heaven on Saturday, June 11, 2016.  He passed peacefully, in the company of family.

Ralph served in the Army in Korea.  He belonged to many clubs, including Questers, Merri-Timers Ballroom Dance Club, Guys and Dolls Dance Club and the Elks.  Ralph loved ballroom dancing, listening to the Blues and a good red wine.

Ralph is survived by his wife Marcia; sons, Mike and Laurie (Long) Horning and Greg and Kami (Kapacinskas) Horning; grandson, Ian; and many good friends.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2016 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 51490 Laurel Road, South Bend, IN.  Rev. Gregory Fiechtner will officiate.  Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home; 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN and on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church.
