Ronald Alan Moon, 68, residing in South Bend, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at home. He was born December 4, 1948 in Mishawaka, IN, to the late Charles J. and Lois (Culp) Moon.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Jamie (Patrick) Pfiester; 2 grandchildren; sister, Alta (David) Zobrosky and brother Rick Moon as well as several of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Norlynn Moon.

Ronald served his county as a member of the US Army, serving first in Korea and later being stationed in Germany. He loved to spend time with the service dogs during his years of service and always had a story to tell. Ronald enjoyed spending time with his best friend Tony and talking to his family especially his grandkids, his many phones calls will be greatly missed.

A memorial service in honor of Ronald will be held at Country Line Brethren Church (located across from LaVille High School) in Lakeville on June 29, 2017 at 4 pm with a dinner to follow.
