Rose M. Taylor

Rose M. Taylor, 88, of LaPorte, IN passed away at 5:30 p.m. (CST) Thursday, June 22, 2017 at St. Anthony's Hospital, Michigan City, IN.  She was born on May 22, 1929 in Tyner, IN to the late Harry F. and Dora G. (Hill) Davis.  On December 31, 1952 in North Liberty, IN, she married Robert C. Taylor, who preceded her in death on January 22, 2008.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her children, Nancy Lee Bowers of Knox, IN, Theresa Lynn (James) Collings of Walkerton, IN, Barbara Ann (Phillip) Lee of North Liberty, IN, Donald T. (Damita) Taylor of Lake Station, IN and Ronald C. (Myrna) Taylor of Mishawaka, IN; eleven grandchildren, Joshua, Jake, Christopher, Rebecca, Justin, James, Amanda, Samantha, Paul, Steven and Cody; fifteen great grandchildren, Lydia, Luke, Joshua, Jordan, Gavin, Benjamin, Leland, Taylor, Lydia, Paul Jr., Mariah, Alexia, Katlyn, Ryan, Kaila and one on the way; sisters, Darlene Green of North Liberty, IN and Sharon Ashby of TX and brother, Tod (Katie) Davis of Walkerton, IN.  She is preceded in death by her son-in-law, John Bowers; sisters, Shirley O'Connor, Mary Lou Diedrich, Lilly Graves and Betty Russell and brother, Bob Davis.

Mrs. Taylor was a lifelong area resident.  She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. (EST) Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Palmer Funeral Home, 202 S. Main Street, North Liberty, IN.  Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. (EST) Tuesday at the funeral home.
