Sue A. Pierce, 68, residing in Granger, passed away at 3:08 am Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. She was born October 30, 1946 in South Bend to the late George and Beverly (Horton) Goodrick, and has lived most of her life in South Bend, with the exception of 12 years spent in Versailles, Kentucky.

On June 5, 1965 in South Bend, Sue married Ronald E. Pierce, Sr., who survives. She is also survived by daughters, Dawn R. (Jeff) Combs of South Bend and Dana D. (David) Richards of Versailles, KY; sons, Ron E. (Tiffany) Pierce, Jr. of Jeffersonville, IN and Thomas S. Pierce of Granger; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one sister; and several nieces and nephews.

Sue worked as a school bus driver in Woodford County, KY.

Funeral services for Sue will be held at 10:00 am Friday, January 30, 2015 in the Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, with her son, Ron Pierce officiating. Graveside services and burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Thursday, January 29, 2015 in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
