Thomas C. Reamer

Thomas C. Reamer, 80, of South Bend, IN passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, IN.  Thomas was born on October 25, 1934, to the late Darwin Reamer and Pauline (Wineburg) Shue.  On June 22, 1957, he married Shirley (Helvey) Reamer, who survives.

In addition to his wife of 58 years, Thomas is survived by daughters, Traci (Wayne) Hullinger; Tricia (Robert) Sherry; sons, Thomas (DiAnn) Reamer, Trent (Lynn) Reamer, all of South Bend, and Terry (Dana) Reamer of Osceola, IN.  Thomas is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Thomas owned Reamer’s Standard Station for 23 years and was later employed by Airport Goodyear & Montgomery Ward as a Parts Carrier.  He was employed by Whiteford Trucking, retiring from there in 1997.  He also worked at Advance Auto Parts.   

Funeral services for Thomas will be held On Friday, October 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home – River Park Chapel; 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN.  Pastor Mark Lantz will officiate.  Friends may visit with the family between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
