"Tony" Anthony Lamar Herrell

“Tony” Anthony Lamar Herrell of South Bend, IN, age 52, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017. Tony was an electronic technician in the field of computer science.

Tony was born on May 16, 1965 in South Bend to Robert Lee and Frances Marine (Owens) Herrell. He is survived by his former wife Laura Herrell of South Bend; daughters Audree (Daniel Webb) Herrell of South Bend and Carie (Brandon) Sailes of Osceola, IN; grandchildren Elijah Walker, I’Leah Webb, Braedon Sailes, Brycen Sailes, and Cheyanne Sailes; sister Debra (James) Allen of Muskegon, MI; brother Robert Lee Herrell, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; and his mother, Frances Herrell of Spring Lake, MI; niece Jaime (Craig) Steward of Norton Shores, MI; nephew James (Chioma) Allen, III of Indianapolis, IN; and one great nephew Darrion Herrell of Las Vegas, NV. Tony is preceded in death by his father Robert L. Herrell; paternal grandparents Lonnie and Addie Herrell; maternal grandparents Hermon and Birdie Owens; and nephew Darrick Herrell.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday August 18, 2017 at Palmer Funeral Home River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN, 46615. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to the Herrell family in the care of Palmer Funeral Homes for final expenses.
