Shirley A. Shaw
July 4, 1951 ~ December 26, 2012
Shirley A. Shaw, 61, residing in Elkhart, passed away at 1:45 pm Wednesday, December 26, 2012 in Hospice House of Elkhart.  She was born in Caribou, Maine on July 4, 1951 to the late Blynn and Lucille (Tozier) Shaw. She moved to the Elkhart area as a teenager and remained a lifelong area resident.
Shirley is survived by two daughters, Bernadette (Ben) Klemm of Elkhart and Jessica (Chad) Morlan of Argos; one son, William (Jen) Wargo of Goshen; the father of her children, William Wargo of Elkhart; and ten grandchildren, Cody, Jacob and Emily Wargo, Courtney and Ashley DeMont, David, Joseph and Isabella Klemm and Ryan and Jessica Bell. She is also survived by two sisters, Terrie Lee (Joe) Patterson of Findley, OH and Belinda Coots of Hartland, Maine.
Shirley was a phenomenal cook, who always prepared for an army.  She was also a master seamstress, who enjoyed sewing for her family.  Most important to Shirley was spending time with her grandchildren and family, by whom she will be dearly missed.
Funeral services for Shirley will be 6:00 pm Monday, December 31, 2012 in the Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend. Dr. William H. Hemmig of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Elkhart will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 - 6:00 pm Monday in the funeral home prior to services.
