Brandy Nicole Richardson

Brandy Nicole Richardson, 25, of South Bend, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday, February 16, 2017. She was born on April 23, 1991, in Peru, IN, to Amber (Greer) Grover and the late Terry Richardson.

Brandy is survived by her loving fiancé of eight years, Josh Haverstock of South Bend; her mother, Amber (Don) Grover of Bunker Hill, IN; three sisters, Bridgett Richardson of Bunker Hill, IN; Brittney (Curtis) Richardson-Freese of South Bend; Brianna Richardson of Bunker Hill, IN; two brothers, Terry (Amanda) Richardson of Hasting, FL and Don Grover, Jr. of Bunker Hill; an aunt, Kathy (Larry) Hicks of Amherst, OH; the Haverstock family of Kent, Julie, Kathy, and her fiancé Josh, her Gecko-Gizmo. Brandy was an adored aunt of four nieces, seven nephews, and six cousins. In addition to her loving father, Terry Richardson, Sr., Brandy was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents as well as two uncles, Thomas Richardson and Chester (Junior) Richardson.

Brandy loved “The Walking Dead,” WWE—her favorite wrestlers being the Undertaker and Kane. She also loved Penguins and Nightmare Before Christmas.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, February 28 at Palmer Funeral Homes—West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend, IN. Her ashes will be laid to rest next to her father at Salem Cemetery in Peru, IN, at a later date. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00-3:00pm, prior to the service on Tuesday, February 28, at the funeral home. A second memorial service will be scheduled at a later date in Peru, IN.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Humane Society of St. Joseph County, 2506 Grape Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
