My prayers are with your family. I was very saddened to hear of his passing.
I worked with Cleo at SBCSC transportation for just over 5 years he was always very attentive to the needs of the kids and a great guy all around. Always pleasant, always polite, I'm not sure there was a time when I saw him that he didn't have a smile on his face.

Cleo was such a wonderful bus driver, and personable guy. He Always made sure our children were safe. He told me just last week that his friends couldn't understand why he wanted to drive a bus after 43 years as a mail carrier and he told them, "Well, I love kids, wanted to be surrounded by kids, and I wanted to do something for kids, so I became a bus driver." He will be sorely missed. God bless his family for the huge hole left by his passing. He always said he loved his family! Thank you for sharing him with us. Suzette

My sincere sympathy to Cleo's wife and entire family. Surely you lost a good husband and Dad. I met Cleo in 1984 when he was my supervisor at Chippewa Post Office. He was once of the FEW managers that I can truly say I respected and admired. Almost one of the only! He took good care of me as a newbie and also as a first time Mom, he truly felt like a friend at the time. Later on I reconnected with him briefly when I clerked in Elkhart and he was a carrier. I was so happy to see him again. And I know he worked hard for himself, his family, and the betterment of others. I am so sorry for your loss. Peace be with you all.

I think of you every time a new Star Wars movie is released because, I remember you taking Vette and I to see the first Star Wars movie. I remember you being the most handsome man I had ever seen. I can't say I ever remember you raising your voice to Vette and I. I will forever cherish the memories we shared and I will forever wish we could have had more. Often times I wondered why, but life teaches us things happen. I remember the last time I spoke to you and the last time I saw you.

I always thought Vette looked identical to you until I saw your obituary picture; You gave me your cheekbones, your skin tone, your nose, your lips, and your smile and It gave me comfort because I realized no matter the time or lack of; I am YOU. I only wish we had the chance to get to know each other more. Just know my heart hurts and you take the piece of my heart with; that I always kept tucked away.
Rest In Heaven; Your Baby Girl Akeisha Michelle

Event those were beautiful words I'm really sorry that you and your dad did not get to spend time together as a father and daughter should because of his wife unfortunately she did not accept his kids women tend to marry men with kids and then don't want them to visit or don't want them to call but your dad loves you and you were born and conceived by two people who loved each other and then also loved you your father and I were married and we enjoyed each other but most of all our love was you and your sister I know this is a hurting time but put your hands in your heart give it to Jesus and he will ease your pain I love you my darling your mother
