I was fortunate to have Dorothy as my sweet aunt. I remember when I was a little girl she would care for me while my parents worked. I have pictures taken on Dorothy and Carl's wedding day. They were a special couple.
My dad, Richard (Dick) Fisher, looked out for his little sis, Dorothy. In the last years of his life he'd pick her up, they'd go to Taco Bell for lunch and then sit around the house for a couple hours, sometimes chatting, mostly catnapping.
I enjoyed visiting Dorothy on my last visit to Mishawaka in April 2015. She holds a special place in my heart. With Dorothy the last of a Fisher generation passes. May she rest in peace.
