Gwendolyn Ruth Rita Toth

Gwendolyn Ruth Rita Toth, 92, of Mead, CO, formerly of South Bend, IN passed away at 4:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the Life Care Center, Longmont, CO.  She was born on November 26, 1921 in Auburn, IN to the late John Lee and Julie (Johnson) Noyer.  On July 8, 1942 in South Bend, IN she was united in marriage to Louis Toth Sr.

Mrs. Toth is survived by three daughters, Marcia (Terry) Batten of Niles, MI; Paulette (Larry) McGimsey of Mead, CO; Jeanette (Larry) Davis of Niles, MI; son, Douglas (Cassandra) Toth of Terre Haute, IN; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and brother, Donald (Claire) Noyer of South Bend, IN.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis Toth Sr. on June 8, 1995; two brothers, Jack and Richard; sister, Deloris Burns; and son, Louis Toth Jr. on December 28, 1998.

Mrs. Toth moved to South Bend in 1940 and lived most of her life here till 2011 when she moved to Colorado.  She retired in 1991 after thirteen years at Broadmoor Drug Store. She previously worked at Hooks Drug Store.   She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus in Lakeville, IN and a member of the V.F.W.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN. Private ennichement will take place on Monday at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Louis.
