Dear Debbie, Don, and Greg and children. I am so very sorry to hear the news about Hugh Brown. I always thought so well of him; he was a nice man, devoted husband and father. I can hardly write this for crying, but want you to know Hugh, Jane and the Brown and Grover family are all in my prayers and thoughts right now. I am sure Hugh's soul will go straight to heaven and he will be with God forever. You will see Hugh, Jane, and Jill in the glories of heaven someday and there will be no more pain and sorrow. HIS PERFECT LOVE, PEACE, AND JOY to all of you at this most difficult time of sorrow and loss. Love Jo Anne Vandegriff

Deb, Don, Greg and families, I am sorry I can't be there on Wednesday but know my thoughts are with all of you at this sad time. I will always remember Uncle Hugh as a soft-spoken man who was talented with a paint brush. HIs legacy, however, will forever be the loving care and dedication he showed towards Aunt Jane. With Love and sympathy, Kim & Mark

To: Deb,Don,Greg. We will be forever grateful to your Dad for his constant dedication to Jane throughout her health battles. We will be unable to attend the memorial service in South Bend and hope you can understand that even though we are not physically present we will certainly be with you in spirit. We can only remember Hugh as a great husband, father, and brother in law! Jim/Sharon

Dear Family,
I’m sad to hear about your loss. I worked with Hugh from 1998 – 2001. While this was a short time, Hugh left a very memorable and positive impression on me. I will always remember him treating me to pie and coffee on our first day surveying together in the field. He was always very nice to me and I appreciated that.

Deb, Don, Greg, & Family
We know its hard to loose a loved one especially one like your father. He was a man of principle and firm conviction as well as one of the most honorable men I have known. Cherish your memories of him and remember he was so very proud of you all.
