Uncle Jay, as he was known in my family and to my experience, was a man of few words but a great sense of humor. I admired his devotion to family and God, his service and handling of his handicap--he never let it stop him that I was aware of. We looked forward to annual Thanksgiving gatherings and especially appreciated him and Aunt Marge bringing the grand kids. Wonderful memories. Prayers and blessings for his family.

This is a sad time indeed, but just think if where Jesse is and his freedom from the pains of his body, the delight of his soul. He was a friend and one who made a major contribution to my life. When I was in college studying Christian Education, he said why don't you just go ahead and get your Education Degree. I followed his suggestion and it has been a blessing to my life ever since. A good man he is.

Sorry to hear of the end of an "era" with the passing of such a good man! The last of his siblings (Sarah, Neva, Al, Don and Nellie) to die. It was so good to see Jesse at our Thanksgiving reunions, including the most recent one. Jesse had a dry sense of humor, a steadfast love for his family, and, most importantly, an even bigger love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Looking forward to seeing him, Marge, and other family members, in the Great Reunion with God. Until then RIP Uncle Jesse, and may the Peace of God be with all who loved him and now miss him!
