We're so sorry for your loss. Nice obituary. We hadn't known he was such an active singer. Sorry we never had the opportunity to sing with him. Miss seeing you Sharon and Sherry. Hope you're doing OK.

This world has truly lost one of its finest men. We are sad to say goodbye to Ray, who has been an exceptional neighbor, friend, and example to all of us for 50+ years. The Decker family is forever be grateful to have known Ray and we consider it a blessing to have so many good memories of him. He & Grandma Carol are probably catching up with each other in heaven.

Our prayers are with you, Sharon & all the family. We love you.

To Sharon and Family: John leaves a huge void and hurting hearts that are nonetheless full because of having known him. He would not want us to mourn. He is now beyond pain and suffering and enjoying his new life as he did his life here. Our love, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

So sorry for your loss. John will be sorely missed by all of us in the male chorus community.
"All of us go down to the dust; yet even at the grave we make our song: Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia. Give rest, O Christ, to your servant with your saints, where sorrow and pain are no more, neither sighing, but life everlasting."
