For those of us who worked for him at Johnson Wax, he was nicknamed "The Chairman", a name given out of respect for his decisive leadership. Ken & I became known as Group IV when we were developing Edge shaving gel, a revolutionary product that became the market leader. Our secretary Carol became the third member of our unique group. Before he died, I reminded Ken of some anecdotes while we were developing Edge. We traveled each Monday night to NYC, had dinner and meetings with the ad agency and returned each Tuesday for a year and a half. We made over 75 trips together during which time we addressed and solved the world's problems. This closeness led to my wife Marilynn becoming close friends with Ginny and to our children with the Duncan children. During the next near half century, we remained the closest of friends, along with the Daniels who had the added advantage of being from Michigan and Michigan State.
Marilynn and I are sorry we can't see Ken off tomorrow with the family, but our thoughts will be there and both Ken and Ginny will always have a special place in our hearts and memories as they will also be with our children.

Good bye, Ken, Art

It was a pleasure getting to know Ken through having lunch and dinner with him and my friends Stu and Mary Ellen Kollar. He always was very knowledgeable about many different things and had a great humorous approach to our conversations.

He will be missed!
