Judy will be missed by all who knew her, but especially those who shared her love for the arts and performed closely with her for so many years. My deepest sympathies to her family and loved ones.

Judy was a beautiful person who graced all of our lives with her humble spirituality and kindness. She was, to me, a blessing because of what she did for our family. In 2012, when my father was in Morning Crest Memory Care, Judi was singing in the community room while my father was already bedridden and barely conscious. My mother and I walked into the community room and listened. When she was finished, she walked over to give me a hug (as she always did - I work at Walnut Grove) and I introduced her to my mother (who recently passed away also). She asked why we were there and I explained that my father was in the final stages of dementia. She offered to go with us to his room and perhaps ease his suffering with song. She began singing to him with her hand on his chest. She sang a chant and lovely song. As she sang, my father's face seemed to relax and become calm. We all cried. She will truly be in our hearts forever and we now have another angel to watch over us.
I love you Judi!

Judith led the congregational singing at Unity Church of Peace for a period of time when I was minister there. My condolences to her husband and family. She was a loving and brave human being.

Judith was a friend of mine for over 20 years. We met as members of the South Bend Symphonic Choir (1997-ish) - she came up to me and introduced herself because she heard I had lived in India for awhile. Judi was talented, particularly in the areas of music and meditation, and a knowledge-seeker. You could feel her compassion and intelligence in conversations, though she also could be prickly too! Not a saint, but a searcher for spiritual truth and informal researcher of medical info, along with her father, about her cancer. She, with her hallmark spirituality, voice and blue eyes, will always be my mentor and guide as long as I exist in this world. Without preaching she influenced me. Her journey is a point of light and inspiration for me - she is not dead to me.

Judi has always been an inspiration, kindly and full of ideas about the future. It was a joy to know her.
