My sympathy to Dale's family. He and I were USNA classmates. We were together for three years on the varsity soccer team. He was a good friend and a good teammate. May he rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy and condolence to the Dale Furman family. Dale and I were in the same 5th. Battalion at the USNA '61 Class. He was in the 17th. Co. and was in the 18th.

Yvonne,
We are so very sad to hear of Bud's passing and of your loss. We were not aware that he had been ill, but hope that his final days were comfortable. I remember our Naval Academy days with such fondness, and having Bud as a plebe year roommate was very important for me - in part because he was so much smarter than me academically! Margery and I are so glad that we had the opportunity to join you and the Martins and Ruecherts at the Navy - Notre Dame game and in your home. The memories will help us all. Please do keep in touch. Yvonne our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family, Ken shared his respect for the Navy as did Dale "Buddy". A memorial is being sent as per his wishes to the Navy League in his name.
