Mom, I'm so grateful to have had you for my mother. I will always miss you. I have so many wonderful memories of you where you will live on. Love you! (PS I know how to spell my own name!😜)

Marcia, sad for this occasion in your wonderful family. Glad you are in Fort Wayne; were you not in New Jersey?

Both of my parents have passed now, too, although I must say the positive friendships and good name they left here in South Bend have certainly encouraged me many times. Although I may not have met your mother, she sounds like exactly the person I would have pictured as your mom!

Having studied English together at Adams H. S., I hope this poem will lighten your heart as it has mine. The spacing on paper is neat, although I can only hope it will come through in this format.

This world
is not conclusion;
A sequel stands beyond,
Invisible, as music,
But positive,
as sound.
Emily Dickinson

Love and prayers go out to you and your family. Gayle

I am so sorry to hear of your great loss. Recently I lost my dear mother,
and found great comfort in the Holy Bible, like at: Isaiah 25 verse 8 -
" The Sovereign Lord will swallow up death forever, and wipe away
the tears from all faces." Also at Revelation 21 verse 4 we find God's
promise to remove both pain and death. For more comfort, I turn to

Miss you and love you Mert!! This Earth was lucky to have you for 90 years. I'll always remember and cherish the memories I had with you. Whether it be a cruising around Fort Wayne in the Jaguar to go back to school shopping, a morning filled with pancakes on the griddle, an Easter of overflowing Fannie Mae chocolates or a Christmas morning full of presents from Santa Mert. Forever our generous, loving, intelligent, and sassy Queen Bee. Love you Mert.

Marian - friend, confidant, encourager, provider, fellow disciple in our Lord. She quietly lived her faith as she enjoyed life to the fullest. I am blessed to have been a part of her life. See you in the Resurrection, my beloved friend!

Sincere condolences at the passing of your mom. She was so comforted by having all of you around her through her final years.
I have so many memories of being at your house during our childhood and your mother accepting me as another kid welcome at any time. We have shared so much through these many years. Your mother was always a part of those memories. She will be missed.

Thanks, Ellen. We had so many good times at each other's homes in the old neighborhood. Lots of shared experiences.
