Naomi and family,
My deepest sympathy to you. How I regret that we lost touch through the years. How well I remember customizing model cars with Ed. Then there were the theological "discussions" in which we engaged. It never affected our friendship. My love to you.

Remembering a wonderful man of God who helped me see the unconditional love of the Lord, teach me, and guide me in the early days of my walk.

Thank you Pastor your manner, smile and patience bring a smile to me every time I remember you.

Love you Pastor!

I have never met a man who was so positive and encouraging to everyone, all the time. He was one of the nicest people I've ever met in my entire life! He will be sorely missed. Heaven has gained an angel.

Dear Naomi,
I am deeply saddened to hear of Ed's passing! My heart is heavy for the loss of husband, father and grandfather, but rejoicing that he is now in Glory, with Jesus!
Ed has made an impact on so many lives, and his love for Christ was so real and so evident to all that had the privilege of knowing him. What a serving heart he had, and our family is so thankful for all he did when Dad was so ill. Dad would always tell us that Ed stopped by to talk and say a prayer, and that meant so much to him.
May God bless you and comfort you and hold you in his loving arms.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to Ed's family. I worked with Ed on Sundays for a while and it was delight hearing him speak of others so pleasantly and honorably. He was a man of God and had a huge heart. He loved being able to support and give prayer/hope to others in the times they often needed it the most. He was an inspiration to me to be a better nurse and human being. He will be greatly missed. Prayers of peace to his family during this difficult time, knowing he's with our Lord.

Dear Naomi,
I am so very sorry to hear of Ed's death. My heart goes out to you, the kids and grandkids. I will always remember him as a kind and gentle soul who had an inspiring word for everyone he met. It was my privilege to hire Ed years ago at Center for Hospice Care. When he left to return to Memorial Hospital it was my joy to have him return to CHC. He will be so missed by the SCC team. Praying for peace and love for you and the family in the days ahead. Blessings,
Pat Mitchell, (retired) SC Coordinator, Center for Hospice Care

Ed was my mother's hospice Chaplin four years ago. He was such a blessing to my mother and family. During the difficult days ahead, may you find joy in the precious memories you have and the Lord's peace as you say goodbye for now.
