When I was a kid, his barber shop was around the corner from my dad's shoe repair shop so I saw him often as he was a friend of my dad's. There was a beauty shop next door to the barber shop and Ray and John Weakley were always pulling tricks on them. One busy day he shut off the breaker to the beauty shop as it was on his side. The women were beside themselves. It was so funny. Also, Susan I remember well the great basketball games you had and you went all through school without losing a game. Your parents were so supportive. He was a great guy! The last time I saw him he was bragging about the golf success of Adam.

Dear Sue and family,,
Your father and mother were great people! They always had an encouraging word and were such great examples of men and women of God. We are praying for you that you would feel the Lord's comfort during this time. The best thing about your father is his smile. It always encouraged me.
Love,
Daniel and Shelly Nagle

Our deepest sympathy to the Unruh Family. We were saddened to learn of your dad's passing. I have a few memories from working next door to your dad and Dale. I would just start to get my clients head shampooed when all of sudden I didn't have water. Guess who controlled the water to our beauty shop? They seemed to think playing jokes on the beauty shop was great fun and actually it was. Treasure the memories, I know that I will. We will keep you in our prayers. Gary and Connie Caranci

Please accept my heart-felt condolences upon the death of your father and grandfather. As a young boy I would walk uptown to Ray's Barbershop where I would sit until it was my turn to climb into the chair. Ray would put his hands firmly on my shoulders and inquire what it was I wanted. He always had a smile and a bit of friendly banter for those he served. When I became a Christian he and his wife encouraged me to follow Jesus. May the promise of resurrection and eternal life give you comfort and joy even as you experience grief.
