Cheryle, so shocked to hear of Roger's sudden passing as I am so used to seeing his posts on FB. Funny how I knew you from being friends while my dad pastored the Rhinelander church and knew Roger from MVBC and altho' you met @MVBC, I was gone before you came to the college.
My deepest condolences for your loss which I'm sure is deep and profound as Roger was the kind of guy who lived larger than life. Being torn from the fabric of this world must certainly leave an unfathomable hole. I pray you find comfort in this time of shock and grief and all the support you need to carry on. Much love and prayers. Sherrie

Now, the laborer's task is o'er.
Now the battle day is past.
Now upon the farther shore,
Lands the voyager at last.
Father, in thy gracious keeping
Leave we now Thy servant sleeping.

There the tears of earth are dried;
There its hidden things are clear;
There the work of life is tried
By a juster Judge than here.
Father, in Thy gracious keeping
Leave we now Thy servant sleeping.

There the penitents, that turn
To the cross their dying eyes,
All the love of Jesus learn
At His feet in Paradise.
Father, in Thy gracious keeping
Leave we now Thy servant sleeping.

There no more the powers of hell
Can prevail to mar their peace;
Christ the Lord shall guard them well,
He Who died for their release
Father, in Thy gracious keeping
Leave we now Thy servant sleeping.

"Earth to earth, and dust to dust,"
Calmly now the words we say;
Left behind, we wait in trust
For the Resurrection Day.
Father, in Thy gracious keeping
Leave we now Thy servant sleeping.
